Hello awesome family!!

So we got a transfer call last night.... From President Clayton. SISTER CHELSON IS TRAINING! I'm so excited for her! She'll be such a good trainer. She's going into a new area and I'm staying here. Sister Morgan is coming here! She's from England and sings. That's all I really know. But it will be fun because she served in Weston for a couple transfers and she's served in YSA so we'll have a lot to talk about! I'm excited but I HATE CHANGE. Sister Chelson is awesome and we've had such a fun transfer and we saw so many amazing things happen. I know I'll cry when I say bye to her... Ah I hate it. Anyways, we had an awesome last week together!

DAVID: Remember him from last week? The scary bible basher? Ha JK he's not that bad. But we met with him last night and it was kind of intense. He texted us a couple days before and asked us to look up Hebrews 10:10-18, Psalm 96:5, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:6-8, and 45:5-6. He said to come prepared with how we interpret these scriptures. So we looked them up and were way confused! Ha so we called President Miller (he's a former mission president in our ward SO AWESOME) and asked him to come with us to our lesson. Well the lesson went well and we just talked about what we believe in and why. It's annoying though because he always wants proof. And we keep telling him WE CAN'T PROVE IT TO YOU. And if he really wants to know he needs to read from the Book of Mormon and pray sincerely about it. It's the PROOF that our message is true. President Miller called us this morning and said that he has been thinking about the lesson and asked if he could come to our next lesson with him to clear up some things. UM YES! I love it when members ask us to come teaching with us.

LUCA: We taught him Plan of Salvation on Friday and it was one of the best lessons we've ever had. AHHHH The spirit was there and we were asking inspired questions that really made him think and become curious about everything and testifying like mad! Luca had never thought of where he had come from or where he was going but was super interested. He's been reading from the Book of Mormon but he's never able to come to church because he works every Sunday. ARG The struggle is real.

HELENA: She's from Croatia! Remember how I want to go there way bad because it has bomb waterfalls!? I was so happy when she said she was from there. Helena is so friendly and her mom doesn't speak English but she seems nice too. Ha She kept on smiling at us so that's good. I'm so grateful we met her because she needs the Gospel right now. She's been in Canada with her husband for 5 years but they don't have a lot of friends. And she's pregnant with her first baby! Hopefully we can get her to church ASAP! We started teaching the Restoration but didn't get too far. She's pretty talkative but we're meeting with her again this week so that's good.

FINDING NEW: This last week we had a focus throughout the mission to find at least two new investigators in each area. It was amazing and everyone worked really hard! At the end of the week 98% was able to achieve that! Isn't that so awesome!? We were blessed to find three pretty early on and on Sunday they asked us to go to another area to help the missionaries out there. So we travelled to Hamilton and started tracting. We knocked on maybe 20 doors, sang some songs, then we met Candy. We sang her a song, talked about what we do as missionaries, and asked her if she'd ever be interested! She was like, "Yes! You can come back whenever you'd like!" Yahoo. We talked about the Restoration and at the end she asked if we could say a prayer for her and her family. They are leaving for Jamaica this week and were feeling a little bit nervous about it all. We prayed and she was so happy we knocked on her door! So we found a new investigator for another area! I'm sad I would be able to meet with her again. Ha she was soooo sweet! Anyways, miracles happen as you work all together. :)

TEMPLE FUN: We met with two families this last week and taught about temples then we had an activity where we made temples out of marshmallows and toothpicks. It was a blast, and the kids loved it!

MEANIES: Someone took a mormon.org card and starred at me while he ripped it. I was like, "uh. You could have just said you didn't want it." Ha.
Someone told us to go to heck... But he didn't say that word. I think my jaw dropped and I made a super disgusted face at him. Woops.
Everytime anyone says, "you're wasting your time." NO WE AREN'T. And no effort is ever wasted!!
I need to be more patient with these meanies.

I love you all lots and hope you have an awesome week!

Sister Dayton
