FAMILY!! So life is still super good in Toronto YSA. I know I keep saying this but I love it here lots. I love being downtown with so many people to talk to everywhere! I'm already nervous to leave because I'm thinking I'll go to a small town next.... BOOOO! JK I'll just enjoy my time in Toronto! So this last week has been awesome.

TORONTO IS DIVERSE AND I LOVE IT: I feel awkward about always e-mailing about food but seriously this week I had lots of cool food, so I'm going to write about it. People come from all over the world to live in Toronto so there are Restaurants with food from all over the world and I love eating at them. This last week our ward was extra good to us and fed us lots! We ate Greek, Chinese, Vietnamese, Columbian, Japanese, and Persian foods! Isn't that the coolest?

TOO EXCITED TO EAT: So the Japanese restaurant was an all you can eat sushi place! So I didn't think I liked sushi, but it's not bad you guys! I kind of liked it and I ate a lot. Some vegetable rolls came out and I was super excited to eat those so I got one dipped it in some sauce and took a huge bite. Well that was bad manners so I should be punished but the roll was so hott! And I totally burnt my tongue. HA It was embarrassing but also hilarious. Because I started freaking out and I was out of water so I drank some of my companions water. Anyways my tongue still hurts but I'm OK. And I learned a lesson. Take small bites and slow down! HA That meal was like $18! Our friends in the YSA are seriously the best!

FUNNY TEXTS: The YSA Elders (zone leaders) are so awesome and they're everywhere! We seriously see them at least once a day. But we got the funniest text from them a couple days ago, "Sisters! We would like to propose a trade. We would like to offer you a Werthers original soft Caramels package for 2 rolls of toilet paper?" HAHAHA! We happily agreed!

DENSEL: So my recent convert from Weston is doing great! He has gone to the temple a couple times to do baptisms for the dead!! So he ran into the zone leaders a couple days ago and I guess he went on and on about how awesome he thinks I am. SO SWEET! The zone leaders were like, "yeah... Densel really thinks you're super amazing."

CREEPER OF THE WEEK: This is the second week in a row where we've had a super awkward situation... His name is Tyler. We met him on the streets and he said he was a Satanist. OK YIKES. So a couple hours later we got on a bus and we saw him!! I was thinking I needed to go talk to him. We didn't see him again by chance right? So I sat by him and started talking. Well we talked for like 20 minutes and it was awesome. He started asking a lot of questions and sounded super interested. We got his number and set up a return appointment. We got a text a couple hours later and once they started coming they just didn't stop. I won't write all of them down because they would take up my whole e-mail time but I'll write down some of the best ones.
"I have religion questions for you both but I had a personal one for Sister Dayton.. I know it may seem odd but i can't help myself and I can't lie. I think she is very pretty and I know things take time but I had to let her know the way i really feel. Plz dont take it in a bad way I'm not one of those guys that hit on women all the time I mean it in a god way that I haven't met anyone like sister Dayton before that has got my attention this easily and I wanted to know if after we talk about Jesus if she would speak with me on her free time."
"Also I know your a missionary but do you ever have time just to relax and see a movie or something and be with someone :)"
"I hope Sister Dayton knows how I feel... I know it seems odd but I've been thinking about her a lot since we met :)"
Don't worry. We'll pass him off to the Elders. They always hate our referrals! HA

PERSIAN PARTY: So the Farsi Elders held a Persian New Years Eve party on Friday so we went with Sarah and her friend and it was a blast! They have some weird traditions but it was fun to see Sarah so happy! She loved the food and meeting people from Iran! We talked to this guy named Mohammad and he was teaching me Farsi. He taught me how to say, "God Loves You" in Farsi and I can't wait to say it to people on the bus when I hear they're from Iran!!

LANGUAGE: After I learned how to say that I decided I wanted to learn it in as many different languages as I can! I want to talk to people on the bus then tell them that God loves them in their language. That'd be cool, right. I feel like it will get their attention and maybe they'll be a little more receptive to what I'm saying! So far I've got Farsi and Hindi down! I'll keep working on it!

GENERAL CONFERENCE: Oh man, it's the best! I loved all of the sessions! I really liked President Claytons talk and it's cool because he is my mission Presidents brother. And I loved President Uchtdorfs and Elder Hollands talk! And Uncle Tom is so awesome! OK I LOVED IT ALL! We had 4 investigators that came to conference and 3 of them liked it so that's good!

SANJAY: Wow, he's my new favorite person. I met him on a bus and talked to him for like 30 seconds then we had to get off. I was way mad we didn't stay on an extra stop so I could get his number but he texted us and said he wanted to learn more! WHAT? That doesn't happen! Anyways, he came to the first session on Sunday and loved it so he stayed and hung out with the YSA's and watched the second session on Sunday! We taught him and invited him to be baptized at the end of the lesson! He said yes! YAHOO! Right now he's scheduled to be baptized on May 3rd

ANA: She's doing great! She went to Vegas this week to visit her mom, who is a recent convert! Lexi was so sweet to invite her over and I'm sad Ana was busy and they weren't able to meet up but that's OK! We'll be meeting with her a lot over the next couple weeks to prepare her to be baptized! She's awesome though!! Love her lots!

OK I LOVE YOU ALL A LOT! I hope you have such a fun time all together!

Sister Dayton
