Hello Family!!
Oh man this week has been better! And a little freezing! But I am seriously loving the branch so much! There are so many member there who are returned missionaries and so willing to help! Every single one of our lessons taught this last week was with a member present. That doesn't happen very often! YAHOO! And when they come teaching with us they know exactly what to say and how to act. It's the best. I don't get nervous anymore with what members might say.
BEING FED.... ALL THE TIME: So I thought we wouldn't be fed in YSA because they are all poor college students but NO we get fed all the time. Like it's bad!! On Thursday we met an investigator at a Pizza place. The member bought us a pizza and it was huge! That night a member invited us for dinner. We went to this Korean place and it was delicious and expensive! I felt kind of bad but boy I really did enjoy that meal! On Friday another member (less active) invited to take us out. We hadn't met him yet so we weren't about to say no. That night we went to institute that night and we got dinner before. They feed everyone before EVERY WEEK! Every Sunday after church is munch and mingle so that's another free meal. Anyways, it's kind of nice.
FUNNY STORY: So remember how last week we saw the Elders in the grocery store and it was super awkward/funny. Well the story gets better. We were at the grocery store and ran into them again! We saw them and said hello. They commented on how healthy we ate. And I looked in their cart and the only thing in it was a toilet plunger! BAHAHA Oh man I wish I was mature and just was normal but I couldn't stop laughing and smiling. It was bad. But also funny. About 15 mins later we ran into them again. They had a bunch of food completely covering the plunger. It was so funny! Well they are so awesome! I seriously love our zone leaders!
CREEPER OF THE WEEK: Well more like weirdo of the week... We were at a lesson with an investigator at a Tim Hortons and this man walked up to us and told us he was an angel. UH... OK? Sister Herfort was like, "you're sandwich is getting cold. You should go eat it." He didn't like that very much. But he pointed to me and said I was going to Heaven first! Haha.
YOSHI: Our student from ESL. He's from Japan and has lived in Canada for about four months. He doesn't really understand a lot but that's OK, he's awesome. We invited him to come to church and HE CAME! I didn't really thing he would. And he stayed for all three hours and munch and mingle! Alright!! We had never taught him so poor guy was super confused during the sacrament. But we talked about it after the meeting. This was the first time he had ever been to any church so that's way cool. We're meeting with him again tomorrow. Yahoo!
SARAH: Wow, I love her so much! We taught her three times this last week and she's doing great! Her prayers are so sweet and so sincere! She's still praying and she's really understanding the lessons more so that's good! She has an awesome fellow shipper who is a returned missionary and she's so great!
We are going to Ossington to play sports and we're picking up some other sister so that's all the time I have. :( But I love you all A LOT A LOT and hope you have a great week! I pray for you all EVERYDAY!
Love, Sister Dayton
