Hello Family!
TRANSFERS: Next week is transfer. I'm terrified. I'm pretty sure I'm leaving Weston and I'm scared to meet my next companion. Sister Bott and I have had such a blast and we've seen so many miracles. I love her lots!!! Also, that ward? Yeah. I'm so close with all of them and I'll for sure cry when I say bye to them and all of my investigators and recent converts!! I'll know next Monday! AHHHH
COMPETITIVE: Well I'm still super competitive. The zone had a goal for each companionship to find five new investigators in one week! On Wednesday Sister Bott and I had four hours and we prayed about a place to go and tract. We don't go tracting in our area very often so we were excited! We started in an apartment building called Woolner and went to the 4th floor! Well two hours later we had five new investigators!!! We were just seeing blessings left and right! It was amazing. The zone leaders were freaking out, it was cute! And we were able to find two more later in the week so we found seven new this week! To hit standards you have to find two so we were pumped! And we're are so excited to keep working with all of them.
CREEPER OF THE WEEK: Unfortunately when we were tracting we met Adrian. We knocked on his door and looked through the peep hole for a long time. Then said, "I'll talk to you because you're both beautiful." Uh... We talked to him for a little bit and then he invited us to his party that night... OK bye!
EXCHANGE: On Saturday I went on exchange with Sister Mandala. Wow, she's adorable and it was such an awesome day! She's from Australia and was in the MDT program at BYU as a freshman on full-scholarship. She's so talented and so sweet! Someday she'll be on Broadway! But anyways, she's also an amazing missionary and taught me so much! She is super organized and doing everything she can to always be a full-purpose missionary! We were tracting and talking to people about family history and at the end we sang, "Families can be Together Forever." People totally started crying, her voice is that good :) It was really cool!
GETTING SHOT: When we were walking back to our apartment on Sunday night this man jumped out from behind a trashcan and started to pretend shoot us!!!!! WHAT? It freaked us out! He didn't have a gun. He was just holding up his hands in that position and made some shooting sounds. And then he said he had killed us. It was weird and we DID NOT like it at all. To make it better we went in to check our mail and we ran into Dane.
SUPER SKETCHY: So remember how I said that I was still pretty spacey. It went to a whole new level on Wednesday night. We took the trash out and came back in and immediately took off all of our winter clothes. Well Thursday morning I woke up and walked into our living room. Our door wasn't just unlocked, IT WAS OPENED!!!!!! Like we slept all night with our door unlocked and I have no idea how it got opened but oh my gosh we felt so sick the rest of the day! Especially with Dane just two doors down!!! Isn't that so bad! We've checked the door like a lot each night now. We were blessed! Nothing was taken and we weren't raped!
DENSEL: Wow, he has changed so much, it's been so amazing to see! He will be baptized next week and we are so excited for him!! His work schedule is crazy and he hasn't come to church every week which is bad. But he's been talking to his boss to work something out. He reads from the Book of Mormon everyday! He just finished 2 Nephi and he always texts us cool things!! We also read some verses from Joseph Smith History and we invited him to pray and ask God if Joseph Smith was a true prophet. The next day he told us he got an answer. When he was praying about it, he got a warm feeling and knew that was his answer! AHHHH YES!!!!
I love you all so much and I love that we have had the Gospel that has blessed our family so much. I know that God's plan is real and I'm grateful to know that we can live with loved ones forever! It's given me so much motivation to become better in this life!
BENJY YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THIS PHOTO! Sister Hoffman on the far left knows you and says you're super cool. She went to high school with you! She lived by Dixon. Small world. But these are the Spanish Sisters in our zone. I love them!
It snowed like 1.5 feet! It's been awesome!
