Wow I'm so happy these days! Mom told me the MTC was hard but I'm seriously loving it. She also said the food at the cafeteria was sick so... she's crazy! JK It's hard when I have to be in my classroom in the same seat for 11 hours each day. It's just a really good thing I focus really well and don't have to move around very often. I have so much to tell you I don't even know where to start!

COMPANION:

I really do like my companion so much! She has taught me so much about being patient and she is just the sweetest thing. 

TEMPLE:

We went to the temple today as a district which was awesome. I love the temple! BUT I'm super sick. Like I have a cold or something. When I was in the Celestial room someone came up behind me and gave me a hug when I turned around I saw the it was Caitlyn Spencer! She was on tour team with me and works at the temple. She started crying which was so sweet and we talked for a little bit. She told me Lee and Linda are retiring this year so that broke my heart!!! I'm so sad I'm not on team their last year!!! Like SOOO sad! I was only thinking about that for like 1 hour. 

SLEEP:

We've been so good at turning the lights out 10:30 but I haven't fallen asleep untill at least 11:15 each night. So I have 45 mins for being bored each night. It's so annoying like I want to sleep but can't!!

SISTER TRAINING LEADER:

New missionaries came in this last Wed that are in our zone! It was so exciting! I planned the meeting and it went really well. We played some get to know you games, went through the rules, then I gave them a tour of campus. My companion and I decorated their doors and bought them candy so welcome them in. They were all so sweet and it was fun to spend some time with them. 

LEAH:

She's our investigator and the hardest one at the MTC. She's depressed to the max and has crazy trials so she doesn't believe that God. I told her that there is a God and he knows and loves her so much. She was like, "Well easy for you to say, you're beautiful, healthy, and seem to enjoy life. I don't. God doesn't love me like he loves you." She also started crying and when I offered her a tissue I scared her because I moved toward her so fast. I felt so awkward and didn't know what to say! I don't even remember how the rest of the lesson went. My companion talked for the majority of it. But our next two meetings were much better! She told me that she felt good when I was around so that's good. My other investigator Grace is going lots better! We've taught the first 3 discussions but she's living with her boyfriend so we'll see how the next visit goes...

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

My new favorite characters in the Book of Mormon are the sons of Mosiah and Alma the younger. They are the best missionaries ever! Like 14 year missions? They're crazy! But I was reading Alma 17 and loved verses 9-11. It talks about how they prayed and fasted to be successful and were blessed with the Spirit. They were comforted and also got some advice to be patient and to set a good example. That scripture really applies to me and I know that when I put my faith and trust in God he will bless me with the spirit.
